Breakfast Hacks That You Need To Know

When you wake up in the morning and you’re running late, the last thing you want to worry about is making breakfast. It’s your first meal of the day and thus, it should nutritious and filling so that it can fuel you throughout the day. Most of the time, however, people are unable to manage their time properly and as a result, come morning time, they’re either running too late to have any breakfast at all or eating something that does not fulfill their nutritional needs.

1. Adding Vegetables to Your Smoothies

Many people are on a time crunch in the morning so they opt for a breakfast smoothie. In order to make it more nutritious and filling, try incorporating vegetables such as spinach or beetroot into your smoothie recipe. Vegetables contain amazing nutrients such as fiber, antioxidants, and vitamins that are bound to keep your energy levels up all day long.

2. Interesting Porridge Toppings

Porridge is a great breakfast idea but, if you keep having it every day, you’ll grow tired of it pretty quickly. You can spruce up a bowl of porridge by adding various toppings ranging from chocolates to fruits and nuts. You can also enhance the flavor by adding honey or cocoa powder to the mix.

3. Homemade Fast-food Sandwich

Rather than waiting in long queues at a fast food store, you can make these breakfast sandwiches at home, and that too in a short amount of time. All you need is an English muffin along with a fried egg, bacon, and a slice of cheese. Toast the English muffin and assemble all the items together to make the perfect homemade sandwich. Et voilà! Now you have a great breakfast sandwich, ready to go.

4. Include Fish

If you are not able to incorporate enough protein into your daily diet, this one is for you. Fish is a great protein and omega-3 source that you don’t want to miss out on. The best part? It cooks pretty quickly so you can either add fish to your sandwich or pair it with some leftovers in a jiffy.
